Edison first operated well in the NCS

The drilling of the well 2/11-11 in the Haribo prospect is the first well to be drilled by Edison Norge AS as operator in the NCS

16th June: the semisub rib Transocean Searcher has commenced the move from Averøy (Kristiansund) toward Haribo location today 16th June at 1:00 hrs, under tight tow by the AHV “Balder Viking”.

Edison Norge AS as the operator in PL 616 is going to drill the exploration well 2/11-11 on the Haribo prospect in the South of North Sea.
2-11/11 well is located 4 km west of Hod field and 8 km south west from Valhall field.
The well will be drilled to a vertical depth of 3350 meters below the sea surface in the Hidra formation. The target of the well is the chalk Narve formation and the expected Hydrocarbons phase is oil. The water depth at the well location is 68 meters.
Well operations are expected to last 45 days in the dry hole scenario. The well is planned to be spudded mid June 2015.
The well will be drilled by the semi-submersible rig Transocean Searcher and AGR Petroleum Services AS has been selected as Well Management Company.
Edison Norge AS is the operator (25%) and the partners in PL616 are Noreco Norway AS(20%), Concedo ASA (20%), North Energy ASA (15%) Skagen44 AS (5%), Lime Petroleum Norway AS (15%).
Haribo (2 /11-11) is the first well operated by Edison on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
*The transaction reported in April whereby Lime Petroleum Norway increases its share with 10% is pending authorities approval.
