Nova PDO approved for development
Nova projects has received approval by the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy for the plan for development and operation (PDO) for its development, about 120 kilometers northwest of Bergen, Norway.

Skarfjell renamed NOVA
Skarfjell has been renamed Nova and it is an oil discovery located in the northeastern North Sea, around 16 kilometers south west of the Gjøa field.
The Nova (formerly known as Skarfjell) license partners (PL 418) decided in the MC on 31. January to selected the Gjøa field as tie-in host for the Nova discovery. The alternative solution was re-use of the Varg FPSO owned and operated by Teekay. Nova has now passed the DG2/ BOV decision and will start preparing the PDO to be submitted to the authorities within 16.February 2018.
